Financing Your Care

In our office, we offer high quality care and payment options that work for all of our patients. Below you will find a list of insurance and payment plans that we accept. If you don’t see your preferred method on our list, please call our office to find out what other options may be available to you.

Dental insurance plans we work with:

  • Delta Dental (currently only at Joplin location)
  • Sunlife/DHA (currently only at Joplin location)
  • Metlife
  • GEHA
  • Guardian
  • Lincoln Financial
  • United Healthcare-Dental Benefit Providers
  • Zelis-Cigna
  • Careington Discount Plan (currently in Pittsburg, coming soon to Joplin)

We are currently working to become providers with many other carriers.  Please contact our office and we will assist in verifying your specific insurance plan prior to scheduling your appointment to make your experience as smooth as possible.  

Payment options:

  • Cash or Check: If you are a self-pay without insurance you can pay upfront and receive a discount.
  • Credit Card: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express
  • CareCredit: Apply online at www.carecredit.com. Different payment terms available.

Please note: Payment is due at the time of service.

Payment of the consultation fee will be required on the day of your appointment.  For insured patients, a payment of $25 towards your consultation will be required and, if applicable, we will bill your insurance provider for the balance.  Otherwise, we will collect the full consultation fee directly from the patient.  We also require a surgery deposit to be paid at the time your surgical procedure is scheduled.  This amount will be calculated based on the specific procedure and the estimated patient cost after insurance coverage.  The deposit amount is 50 percent of the estimated out of pocket cost to the patient after insurance is applied.  We offer a choice of payment options for your convenience.  Please see options listed above.    

As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance company and track claims. Please keep us informed of any changes to your insurance plan. You are responsible for the fees charged by our office, no matter what your insurance coverage may be. Most insurance companies should respond to the claim within four to six weeks. Any remaining cost is your responsibility.
